On Sunday 29th October I’m holding another Art Workshop at my gallery in Marine Walk Street, Hythe.
The subject matter will be either a landscape or seascape (or perhaps a choice of both!) and the medium is pastel pencils.
Pastel pencils are a very versatile but often under appreciated medium. They have all the benefits for creating wonderful pastel techniques such as blending, layering and smudging but without all the mess often associated with traditional soft pastels.

We start with a short demonstration of the techniques to get the best out of pastel pencils and then it’s straight into a full day’s art. It’s a fun and relaxing way to spend a Sunday!
The day starts at 10am and runs to 4.30pm. A fish ‘n’ chip lunch is provided along with refreshments throughout the day. The cost is £90 pp for the day.
You’ll need to bring your own pastel pencils/pastel paper. Drawing boards are provided.
