On Sunday 16th July there was another of my very enjoyable en plein air day workshops!
This month’s workshop was at the atmospheric Fisherman’s Beach, Hythe with it’s small fishing boats beached high on the shingle against the background of the haunting and evocative Martello towers.
I was joined by a small group of fellow en plein air enthusiasts and the day was very successful. The rain held off for us and we produced some really good work.
Here are the two paintings I created on Sunday.
Fisherman’s Beach, Hythe looking towards the Martello towers.
From Fisherman’s Beach, Hythe towards Folkestone.
Once dry, these paintings be available for purchase at my gallery.
The next en plein air workshop is on Sunday 20th August at Rye Harbour, East Sussex.
The cost of the day is £65.00 and further details are available on my website.
